ONLINE ORDERING OF CUTTINGS AND SCIONWOOD IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON, ORDER FOR SPRING 2026 BEGINNING IN NOVEMBER. I WILL BE AT MARKET WITH TREES, PLANTS, AND LEATHERWORK BEGINNING APRIL 19th
Figs are easy to start from hardwood cuttings. Simply stick them in well drained medium (we use peat/pearlite 1/1), keep the medium moist but not waterlogged, keep the humidity high with a plastic bag tent, and most cuttings will root and grow new shoots in a few weeks. You can do several in a pot together and transplant them when rooted. I collect cuttings in early winter, keep them in cold storage, and ship in March. Cuttings will have 3-4 nodes, and will vary in thickness. Success is likely but not guaranteed! $9.00 flat rate shipping combines with scion wood and willow cuttings!
Flat rate $9.00 shipping includes any amount of scion wood, fig, and other hardwood cuttings. Cuttings can be kept in the refrigerator until planting, or started in a pot in a window.
