Grapes can be rooted from hardwood cuttings in early spring. Start in pots as you would fig cuttings, or plant directly like willow. Grape roots well but is more sensitive to lack of moisture and weeds when rooting than willow. If rooting in the field do not plan on 100% take. In a greenhouse in early spring with bottom heat rooting is excellent. These are all varieties which are surviving and producing for me in z5b/6a. I sell 2 node cuttings.
