When I need a tool I can't find, I make it! When I'm not farming, you can usually find me in the leather shop, where I make the hand sewn leather handbags, belts, and accessories I sell at the Ithaca Farmers Market. I have been a full time craftsman my whole adult life, it is the best second job a farmer could have! (and today farming basically requires a second job). I take great satisfaction in the design process, and making things that last, function well, and delight in form and materials. Unfortunately I cannot make enough handbags and belts to sell online anymore, so those are only available in person, (although many people send an Ithaca friend to shop!)
What I am excited to offer here are some farm-related leather accessories that I make, designed and tested over the last decade on my farm, that I think every grower needs!
