6-8'. Large decorative catkins. This is used as the rootstock and "standard" for the "miniature weeping willow" sold at garden centers. Bud a single bud of S. crenata var. pendula, a hard to root prostate willow, onto the top of a long cutting of S. caprea and stick the bottom in a pot!
