Irette will grow into a columnar shaped tree 25-30' tall but only about 5' wide, like a Lombardy poplar! It has a fibrous matted root system. It is a good choice for windbreaks and stream bank stabilization, or coppice it to produce medium sized tan 5' rods for larger weaving projects.
